Internet Banking

Mac OS - Safari

When using Safari to use QPCU Internet Banking, members will need to turn off the built in pop-up blocker. The reason for this is that when clicking on the continue button from our Terms and Conditions page, a new window is presented to the member for their logon credentials. Safari sees this new window as a pop-up and therefore the member cannot logon.

There are 2 ways this can be done. Below is the quick and easy way followed by the more detailed way. The more detailed way should be used if the 'quick and easy' way is not available or can not be found.

1 - The quick and easy way

- Open Safari.

- Click on the Safari menu item in the top left of your screen.

- There should be an option called Block Pop-Up Windows as shown below.

- Ensure this menu item does not have a tick next to it (As the above screen does). If it does have a tick, simply click on it and this will then disable pop-ups (You can confirm this by going back into the Safari menu to see if the tick is no longer there).

- You should now be able to log into QPCU Internet Banking.

2 – The more detailed way

- Open Safari.

- Click on the menu item labeled Preferences (As per shown below).

- Once this menu comes up, click on the tab labeled Security.

- On the security tab you will see an option for Block pop-up Windows. Ensure this does not have a tick in the box.

- Once this is completed you should be able to log into QPCU Internet Banking.
