Direct debits are automatic payments that can be arranged in advance and enable payments to be made from a savings account without the member attending on a payee or the Credit Union to authorise payment. This product is typically used to pay bills and to make other regular payments.

Direct Debits can be:

• Established by you with a third party (e.g. Energex, Telstra, etc.) for automatic payment from your QPCU account to the third party. A direct debit authority is to be authorised by you and given to the payee.
• One off or regular payments.
