QPCU Reduces Interest Rates

QPCU will reduce its Standard Variable home loan interest rate by 0.20% following the Reserve Bank of Australia's decision to reduce the official cash rate.
The 0.20% reduction also applies to QPCU’s Classic, Classic Plus, Select^ and Basic^ home loans, which will range from as low as 6.04%.
This change will be effective from Monday 18 June 2012.
QPCU’s Standard Variable interest rate will decrease as follows:
Product Old Rate New Rate Change
Standard Variable Home Loan 6.84% p.a. 6.64% p.a. 0.20% p.a.
This rate is lower than the recently announced standard variable home loan interest rates of the major banks:
Standard Variable Interest Rates*
ANZ 6.80% p.a.
CBA 6.80% p.a.
NAB 6.78% p.a.
Westpac 6.89% p.a.
QPCU will write to each variable home loan borrower notifying them of any impact on their repayments.
