SMS queries
What are SMS queries?
SMS Queries provide the ability to access information about one or more of your selected QPCU accounts via SMS from your mobile phone.
How do I get started?
In order to use the SMS query service, you must first register via your QPCU Internet Banking login. Specify at least one mobile phone number to be used, as well as the QPCU accounts you wish to access. Please note that one of your accounts must be defined as a default account. To register follow the steps below:
1. Log into QPCU Internet Banking.
2. Click on Other tab and then select SMS Banking from the list displayed.
3. Enter your mobile phone number/s and the account/s you wish to have access using SMS Queries.
Then click on Save. Note you can also change or delete your SMS Query options from this same screen at anytime.
How do SMS queries work?
Once registered you are able to access balance, interest and transaction information on nominated QPCU accounts. To do this send an SMS request to 0488 749 572 (QPCU's SMS banking number) to request one of the following options:

| Balance of all accounts | BAL ALL | displays your member number and all QPCU account types with current balance and available balance |
| Balance of individual QPCU account | BAL (member number and S account type e.g. BAL 123456S1 | displays your member number and your individual QPCU account with current balance and available balance |
| Last 5 transactions | TRAN (member number & S account type) e.g. TRAN 123456S1 | transaction date, description and transaction amount for the last 5 transactions |
| Year to date interest - all accounts | INT ALL | year to date interest earned on all QPCU accounts |
| Year to date interest - individual account | INT (member number & S account type) e.g. INT 123456S1 | year to date interest earned on requested QPCU account |
