One time passwords
What are one time passwords?
A one time password is a randomly generated numerical code that is sent to your mobile via SMS. This password acts as an additional security feature when you log into your QPCU internet banking. A new password is generated each time you attempt to login, so you will need to have your mobile with you.
How do one time passwords work?
Once you have registered for one time passwords simply login to your QPCU internet banking. Enter your membership number and password and click Sign on, you will then be asked to enter a one time password.
Within a few seconds you will receive the one time password via your nominated mobile. Your nominated mobile is the mobile phone number you enter via QPCU Internet banking when registering for one time passwords. Once you have entered the one time password you received via your nominated mobile, it will proceed to your internet banking welcome page as usual.
