Card security
When you have a QPCU Visa Card it's important to make sure your money is safe. Here are some handy hints and tips that will help you to keep your credit cards secure.
Sign your credit card
You should sign your Visa card immediately. This reduces the risk of it being stolen with a blank signature area and someone else signing it for fraudulent activities.
Keep receipts
By keeping your receipts and checking them against your statements you can be aware of any unauthorised transactions on your credit card.
Destroy old cards
Make sure you destroy old cards.
Don't record secure information
You should never write down your PIN or any other security information linked to your Visa card.
Watch out at ATMs
Keep an eye out for people looking over your shoulder at ATMs. They may be trying to see your pin number. Make sure you keep the keypad of the ATM out of site from others when typing in your pin.
