Work life balance

We believe strongly in a work life balance where employees are able to meet family commitments while still ensuring that the Credit Union delivers the highest level of member service. Our flexible work options include the possibility of being employed under a permanent part-time arrangement.

Staff benefits

We offer above award wages and entitlements, and a reduced working week of 36.65 hours. A corporate wardrobe is supplied every two years at no cost to employees. We also offer salary packaging, discounted insurance, confidential counseling services and fully-funded social functions.

Training and development

We have introduced an extensive training program to provide staff the opportunity to move forward in their careers. We aim to give all staff the confidence to perform proficiently and work effectively in their roles.
 
Financial assistance and study leave is also provided to eligible staff.

Staff charter

The vision of the Staff Charter is to develop and complement the staff benefits already in place. To date, the projects delivered by the Staff Charter include the introduction of a ‘buddy’ system for new staff, incentives for staff to refer possible new employees to QPCU, and a number of social activities where funds raised have been donated to charity.
