Switching to QPCU

Switching your banking to QPCU is now even easier. We can do the hard work for you by contacting your bank and obtaining a list of your current direct debits and credits. We will then work with you to transfer these payments to your new QPCU account. The whole process should only take about three weeks to complete.

All you need to do is:

  1. Become a member and open a transaction account with QPCU
  2. Complete the attached forms and return them to QPCU
  3. Once your direct debits and credits are set up, close your old account

Step One

There are a number of ways to become a member of QPCU. You can either apply online, call us on 13 77 28 or visit a branch. Please note that member eligibility criteria applies.

Step Two

To allow QPCU to contact your current bank, you will need to give us the authority to do so by completing the ‘Switch of Regular Payments Arrangements’ form.

For us to be able to transfer your direct debits and credits you will also need to complete the ‘Notice of Variation of Account Details’ form.

Once you have completed the attached forms, please fax them to QPCU on 07 3236 2194 or post to 231 North Quay Brisbane QLD 4000.

Alternatively visit one of our branches and we will be happy to assist you.

If you have any questions, please call us on 13 77 28 between 8.45am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday to speak to one of our member service consultants or email us at AccountSwitching@qpcu.org.au.
